Naive and young.. Un-hurt, un-touched, un-scarred.. I was new.
You came in to my life, slightly older and in some ways wiser, I looked up to you, trusted you.
You taught me things about myself nobody else could.. You made me set the bar higher..

No one else could make me laugh so much, cry so much, love so much..

Years together, you knew me..
you were my comfort zone, my security blanket.
so hard to let go..

Back and forth we left each other...

yet magnetically were drawn back, each time loving and hating each other a little more..
Your name lined my heart, no matter who else came in touch with it, your scent remained.
Time passed and we both grew, together and apart.
Knowing I needed to move on, I found my clarity in your absence.

and just like that.. you were gone..

Love exists to show us how much we can endure.
To push us to our limits, to the point where were either better people with them, or without.

I knew I would never be with you but will always remember the wanting..
